The following story is the true story of a young man who found peace and purpose.
Matt Welsh began college just like anybody else. He struggled week in and week out with the pressures to succeed. However, during his junior year, Matt began a powerful transformation that stirred within him a desire to study the practices of history’s greatest spiritual teachers.
Throughout this experience Matt realized that there is a definite reason why each of us have our own unique passions. Our passions drive us to pursue what brings purpose into our life and guide us to be a source of inspiration to those around us.
Part of Matt’s life mission is to help teach others how to follow their passion. As a result, he published his debut novel, The Bottom Line, while attending law school. Additionally, Matt is now a lawyer who speaks directly to high school and college students.
Watch Matt Welsh speak at the University of Notre Dame about how to turn your passion into your career path.

“Since his graduation from Notre Dame, I invited Matt, as guest speaker, to give motivational talks to my undergraduate students at Notre Dame. He did so on several occasions, and to the enthusiastic reception of my students. With conviction and excellent communication skills he shared
with them his insights about how to make the most of college in order to be best prepared for opportunities after graduation. He truly made a difference in the students' lives by impacting in a very positive manner on the way they view education and he did this while maintaining a professional rapport with them.”

"I think more than anything I like how Matt reflects on things he has read and attempts to apply it to his own life. I really enjoy the idea of closing out all outside thoughts so you can clear your mind and prepare it for the Spirit to manifest itself. Matt, thank you for sharing such a personal account of your life."

"Matt Welsh is a very good writer! I especially liked the anecdote about Barney and the golf cart. Also, I think his ideas about the connection between the body and the Spirit will become more important and of greater public focus in the future."
